Are you looking for an executive role in which you will find both the organizational support of a large organization, and the dedication to service and compassion of a smaller non-profit community? We are currently seeking an experienced Nursing Home Administrator for one of our beautiful campuses located just outside of Atlanta----Lanier Village Estates in Gainesville, Georgia.

As the Nursing Home Administrator, you will be responsible for the overall administration of the skilled nursing portion of the retirement community, ensuring above all else that all daily service to residents remains consistent with Acts’ dedication to kindness, compassion, and dignity.

Responsibilities Include:
• Administer fiscal operation, such as budget planning, monthly reports, and accounting for health care services;

• Fulfill maximum capacity requirements of Personal Care Wing and Medical Facility;

• Direct management oversight of supervisors and staff who support the successful care of our residents in skilled nursing, nutrition services, activities and social services departments;

• Recommend policies and procedures for Medical Facility, Resident Nursing, Nutrition, Activities and Social Services;

•Managing all departments via formal and informal supervision and communication with department managers in cooperation and support of the Executive Director;

• Ensuring consistent compliance with all Federal, State, and Local regulations

Specific qualifications for the role include:
•Completion of a Current state Nursing Home Administrator's license
•Minimum of four years’ work experience within the geriatric health care field
•Current Nursing Home Administrator's license
•Thorough knowledge of all applicable State and Federal regulations
•Strong Leadership Skills
•Comprehensive knowledge of employment practices and standards
• Thorough knowledge of Administrative Management techniques, supervision practices, procedures and principles
•Strong organizational and problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail
•Ability to communicate in English effectively, both verbally and in writing
